Carnage Cards — Because Everyone Needs a Hobby™

We aim to create a welcoming, friendly, and inclusive environment for everyone who visits our store.

This policy applies to all customers attending in-store events, casual play sessions, or visiting our High Street location.


Respect & Conduct

We expect all customers to treat others with respect at all times.

  • No abusive, aggressive, or inappropriate behaviour
  • No harassment, discrimination, or bullying
  • Respect staff, players, and the store environment

Carnage Cards is a space for everyone to enjoy their hobby safely and comfortably.


Store Rules

To keep the store running smoothly:

  • Please take care of all products, furniture, and play areas
  • Do not open products unless purchased
  • Keep play areas clean and tidy
  • Follow any instructions given by staff

Events & Tournament Play

For organised events and tournaments:

  • Entry fees (if applicable) must be paid before participation
  • Events may follow official organised play rules for games such as Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!, and others
  • Staff decisions are final in all event rulings
  • Good sportsmanship is expected at all times
  • Events start at the scheduled time — late arrival may result in refused entry

Age & Supervision

Younger players are welcome.
However, children may need to be supervised by a parent or guardian depending on age and event type.


Personal Belongings

Customers are responsible for their own belongings, including cards, decks, binders, and valuables.

Carnage Cards cannot accept responsibility for lost, stolen, or damaged items.


Event Bookings & Refunds

  • Event spaces may be limited and offered on a first-come basis
  • Entry fees must be paid in advance to secure a place
  • If you do not attend, entry fees are non-refundable and event rewards will not be provided
  • Refunds may not be available once an event has started
  • If an event is cancelled by us, a full refund will be issued

By booking or attending an event, you agree to this policy.


Food & Drink

Food and drink may only be consumed in permitted areas.

Please keep drinks away from cards, products, and play surfaces.
We reserve the right to ask customers to move or remove food or drink if it poses a risk to stock, property, or other customers.


Customer Trading

Customers may trade cards with each other in-store at their own risk.

Carnage Cards is not responsible for private trades, agreed values, or disputes.
Staff may intervene if a trade appears unfair, pressured, or inappropriate.


Facilities & Guest WiFi

Customer toilet facilities are available for event players and in-store customers.

Guest WiFi is available for reasonable use, including event apps, pairings, deck building, and general browsing.
Please avoid excessive downloads or streaming during busy periods.

Access details are available from a member of staff.


Right to Refuse Entry

We reserve the right to refuse entry or remove any individual from the store or an event if their behaviour is disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate.

We may also refuse future bookings where this policy has been repeatedly breached.


Safety & Security

CCTV is in operation within the store for safety and security purposes.

Please follow all health and safety guidance and report any concerns to a member of staff.
